Merry
Christmas 2004
from Glenn, Rory, Jordan, Joshua,
Christianne, Theresa and Ethan Egger
Because we are writing this on Christmas eve,
instead of a top 10, we are just going to do 3.
3--What have you been up to?
The
year began with many baseball games. 2 a
week x 2 boys = 4.
Theresa
was a pink pony this year. playing soccer. Our first soccer player in
the family. Never thought I’d be
a soccer mom too. She scored a few
goals and lost a tooth on the field.
Ethan
loved going to all their games. He would
get in line for snacks after every game.
He knows how to put out his hand.
Christianne
just started basketball and the boys, wrestling.
We
are still homeschooling. Joshua and the girls are continuing with
violin. Joshua is one song away from
finishing book 1 and Jordan is going to try the
cello. Ethan keeps trying to get his
hands on the 1/16th so maybe I’ll get a quintet instead of a quartet.
2--Did you go anywhere this year?

To
celebrate our 12th anniversary, we went on a week holiday all the
way to Lemon
Grove. We went to OHI—Optimum Health Institute www.optimumhealthy.org where we ate
raw organic fruits and veggies which included a 3 day juice fast. We lost 6 pounds each. This is a place where you can have all the
wheatgrass you want, ok, we skipped this part, and daily enemas or
colonics. Seriously, Glenn went because
I wanted to go, but was glad he went to.
It’s a place that does not advertise but is sold out every week. We met Ben Vereen
and Thelma Houston. There were people
from around the world. Only 5 were from San Diego. Another couple who have been there over 30
times in their 80s and on NO medications at all. Many go there to detox/cleanse
the body and some go to overcome a health opportunity as they call it. It makes a lot of sense cause when God
created the Garden he gave Adam and Eve the perfect food. I would love to spend a week there every
year.
